We come to the UP every year, one of the things we look forward to is a trip to Camel Rider's restaurant, besides fishing. We were the first to arrive at 5:00 pm on August 10, 2017 and it took them one and a half...More

Unless you call & make a reservation, there is no service. Waste of time & gas. 4:30 pm, restaurant was empty.

Went here for a family dinner during a vacation stay nearby. It is indeed remote, on a small lake in the woods in what seems to be a converted house or lodge dating to the 1940s. It is a quintessential northern Michigan family place with...More

Heard about this place for years but never made it. It is out of the way and quite a drive from Marquette, Mi, but for sure worth the drive. Located down a couple of dirt/gravel roads and situated on a beautiful lake shore. Reservations are...More

One of my favorite restaurants. We always make it to The Camel Rider's at least a couple times a year and are never disappointed.

We ate dinner here after a long day of snowmobiling. Food was good, and the bread is delicious. Alittle expensive for up north, but you won't leave disappointed. It's a small place, so reservations are your best bet.

We had the place to ourselves due to the weather. Camel Riders came recommended by several friends who had eaten here and I must say they're recommendations were spot on! Everyone mentioned the steaks, so that what we choose. My husband orders prime rib everywhere...More

Great food, but the price of a cocktail is ridiculous. A rum and coke in a short glass for $6.00??? There really is no need to gouge patrons on the cost of a drink.

My husband and I have eaten at The Camel Rider's many times over the years. It's a bit on the pricey side, so we tend to eat here on special occasions. It is worth every penny. I am an extremely picky eater. We are always...More
