This place has been around for many years, it is still one of my top five favorite restaurants in Traverse City and as a owner of five vacation properties from Torch Lake to Good Harbor Bay I strongly advise all of my guests to hit this place for lunch or dinner when they travel into TC during their stay. Always a delight to stop downtown for delicious fare. My husband loves the roasted chicken. On my most recent visit I had the Quiche Loraine: Very good. If you are celebrating anything you will want to treat yourself to something sweet from the dessert case. Bon appetit!

We were surprised at the high quality and variety here. We all had excellent meals from shrimp and grits to wild mushroom risotto and lots of fish options. I learned it's a Joe Muer restaurant, which speaks for itself. Delightful experience.

My friend treated me to lunch during a day of shopping downtown. It was busy, yet the wait was short. Service was friendly and helpful with special dietary needs. We both had the Nicoise salad and loved it. First time there in a long time; there has been a lovely remodel of the restroom.

Had the express lunch at $7 each, best Quiche Lorraine we have ever had, along with either a cup of homemade soup or small salad. Exposed brick interior with a fireplace made for an upscale, yet casual feel. Only downside was the service, which was professional, but we felt was unfriendly.

This is one of the best restaurant dinners I've had in ages. Prices are on the high end but you get what you pay for. Dessert is worth saving room for.

The food is always excellent. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and is very seasoned (because it is such a good place to work, no one leaves). They have an early bird menu (great deal) and a monthly cookbook series dinner to supplement their standard menu.

Very popular with locals this restaurant is nicely appointed and my breakfast was very good. Somewhat pricey and the toast was an extra charge. Get's busy and people in the entry area made my nearby table a little uncomfortable. Had to ask for coffee refill twice but no biggee, just expect better for the price.
