We ordered the big wet burrito. Very tasty and generous portions. The bloody Mary's were also well-made. Homemade tortilla chips were nice to start off the meal.

So this isn't the greatest looking place on the outside, but the menu and food/drink beer prices are pretty good! They could use just a little brightening up and carpet cleaning. Probably has been this way for a lot of years, but they always have locals and visitors here. Always been happy with the food.

The Hayloft is known for its Mexican food. The food is good and there is always a crowd on Wednesday for Taco Night. Soup has been good here as well. Musical entertainment on the weekends. When this place fills up, the food service is slow and sometimes there aren't enough servers to handle the crowd. Good place for a group... More

This place is located right on the way in and out of Empire. If you want to stop in for a drink and some snacks, a good choice. Yes, the wait staff are a bit disinterested, but, the food is quite good and the prices are great for the area. We stop in every year a few times and always... More

Well we stopped in last Thursday. Normally I wouldnt write a review but when service is enough to make me not want to return to an old favorite spot, I think it is warranted. Normally we have a smiling mid 30's server who is bouncing all over the restaruant caring and laughing with her customers. This last time she was... More

45 minutes for cold nachos and not a busy night. The waitress never came back and didn't care when we told her our food was cold. PBR was good!

Stopped here on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. Reasonable priced beer & nice menu. The mexican dishes seem to be there specialy and our group enjoyed it very much. A little dark inside.

They have a very nice atmosphere which displays old farm tools and antiques. Food is good as it seems as the Mexican fare may stand out more. Service is okay, on most nights they have one server that serves the entire place and can get slammed. They do not have air conditioning so hot days this may not be the... More

My family went to the Hayloft for dinner. We got there at 7:30, and didn't get our food until 8:15. Our waitress never came over to refill our drinks, which were mainly waters, another waitress was flagged down. When our waitress did come with our food, she smelled like she had just taken a long smoke break. 3 of our... More

Stopped in after a hike in Sleeping Bear Dunes with friends for a beer and a burger. Service was fast and courteous, there were many choices for beers, which arrived cold, and the varied menu had something for everyone's taste. Burgers, although not outstanding, were good and everything was served for a fair price.
