Butternut Squash soup was a soup choice the day we visited....very good and unusual....lunch special, bowl of soup with a wrap (also very good) for a reasonable price....good service too

Found this place from nowhere and decided to stop by. It seems like it's in lost place but it's totally worth it. It gives you that home vibe with great choice of wine and food. Everything we tried from the appetizer, soup and the meal were prepared with a lots of passion and care. Definitely worth it to check out,... More

Small place up the Old Mission Peninsula from Traverse City; practically full at lunchtime in late October. Must be really busy in high season. Had a great ham and bean soup and a really tasty cherry chicken wrap. Server checked in just right number of times.

We make our annual October trip to the T.C. area to view the autumn colors. We always search for a place to get whitefish and heard the Old Mission Tavern was excellent. We were not disappointed. My wife and I each had it cooked differently and both meals were outstanding. Our waitress was cordial and helpful. Be prepared to lay... More

We were in Michigan for a week and ate out every night. This was our favorite of the entire trip. The walleye was excellent. So was the service. This wasn't our first visit, but it was better than we remembered. It's not cheap eats, but good value for the money.

Haven't been to this restaurant/art gallery in years, but glad to see they still have great food and service. My husband and I each had one of the specials of the day which consisted of a choice of sandwich or wrap, chile or soup and coleslaw. The food was excellent quality, fresh and delicious. We were both stuffed when we... More

The service was efficient and the wait staff was friendly and informative. The best prime rib and filet that we have enjoyed in a very long time! The side vegetables were unique and not your average fare. A nice relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

They will take your food before you are finished with dinner. Overpriced. You pay for the location. Better dinners at restaurants in downtown Traverse. Go for the drive but not the dinner.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Great staff. Neat showcase for art. A bit pricey for me, but once or twice is worth the drive north from Traverse City, Michigan. Nice drive with beautiful views of Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay. Surely a destination place, not "fast food," in any sense of the term. Just a nice place to go with... More
