My friend and I had the best sandwiches we'd ever had and we're definitely foodies... but they were exceptional for sure, so tasty. While the breeze cools a summer day, it's like paradise on the back deck. The river sweeps you away to a state...More

We ate here on a Sunday night. I recommend sitting outside on the patio as it has a great view of the river and boats docked. We were seated right away and our food was out in no time. Everyone else's food around us was...More

I love to eat lake perch when it is available and we were in a great location for that. I have to admit it was good, not great, but what do you want? My wife enjoyed a Reuben which was good as well. Burgers were...More

Stopped by with my partner, and two other couples, to listen to some live music and grab a drink and an appetizer. We had the fried green beans, which were terrific, and were seated on the deck, overlooking the Kalamazoo River. Food was great, band...More

The food is not the greatest. The seating and inside is not the greatest. The main reason people eat here is for the scenery of the water behind where you can see boats hobby which is nice!

Fun to eat on the water front. enjoyable to see the ships and all the people. It does get windy out there, so hold on to your plate. Good seafood.

We have a nice lunch with a nice view of the river from the rear balcony. Very attentive service. We chose pizza and it was too much for two people. Was not best pizza we have had. But overall, good, relaxing experience.

We enjoyed eating on the back deck with a view of the river, Mt. Baldy and the boats docked. They only offer 16" pizzas, which was bigger than needed and pricey. Service was excellent.

Patio views and sunny atmosphere was delightful. Our server went out of her way to be polite and attentive. Food was barely average though. My black bean burger was more like mushed refried beans on a flat top and my husbands panini was nothing special...More

We had a good seat, right by the window, overlooking the water. The food was just OK, but the view was great. After dinner, we sent downstairs for the comedy club and really enjoyed the evening.

Do you accommodate large parties for brunch/lunch? I am looking for a location for my wedding day brunch with family and friends. Thank you!

Not knowing the # of people, it's hard to answer the question. If too large to hold there, I would recommend going 15 minutes south to the town of South Haven and checking on the American Legion. They have a hall that you... More

My husband and I are visiting the area from Chicago. We were told that almost all of Saugatuck and Douglas are gay friendly except one restaurant, Coral Gables. A good source told us "they don't like the gays" It's ok. It's good to have choices. We have been a loving gay couple for 27 years, and we are always cognizant of where we are welcomed, and where we are not.

Hi Jeffrey, I honestly did not notice either way whether the restaurant welcomed LGBT community or not. I would hope so, as I don't like restaurants that discriminate - passé and outdated - thank heavens. Maybe you could... More
