A friend had recommended this place. It felt like a step back in time. Root beer by the gallon. Food served on a tray on the window. I ordered a single burger and onion rings. My husband ordered a double and fries. We almost couldn't finish it was huge... We would drive miles out of our way for this food.... More

Our waitress was adorable and very helpful for ordering! Food was so good! Everything you would expect from a drive in. Plus, who does like going old school for a meal? :)

Clyde's is a one-of-a-kind drive-in with the best burgers and onion rings north of the Mighty Mac. It's a must on your vacation up north.

Clyde's Drive in is the place to go for burgers, fries, milk shakes and some variations. The BIG-C is a colossal burger, a challenge for most everyone. There is also a Clyde's in Sault Ste. Erie by Kiwanis Park where you can watch the freighters enter the St. Marys river. Don't feed the seagulls! Both locations have limited inside dining... More

Have drove past this place for years of visiting the U.P. Decided to stop and try the food, one word awful. The most bland tasting burger and limp greasy fries ever. Don't honestly understand all the rave reviews. Yes it is unique because of the the drive-in service, and the quick and friendly service they provide. Now they need to... More

There's a reason this place is always packed--it's awesome! Every time I have to cross the bridge, I make a plan to stop here for my on-the-road meal. The malts are awesome and the burgers are too. Come with cash. Credit cards are not accepted (or at least they weren't in 2016)

Excellent bacon cheeseburgers. Juicy, tasty, gooey (the way a good burger should be) and cooked the way you want. And they have malts which my husband just loves. My husband and I ordered one bacon cheeseburger, 1 cheese burger and 1 order of fries (at 12:00) and we were so full that we couldn't eat dinner until 8:30PM. You have... More

We had the mushroom swiss burger, the cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, and fried cauliflower. The burgers were excellent, but my husband was disappointed at how small the mushroom swiss burger was. He thinks they should offer this as a double burger because a single patty is too small. My cheeseburger was great, and I shared with my starving husband (since... More

Out for a Sunday drive and we had to try the burgers at Clyde;s. We only live a couple of hours away and decided to make a fall trip to the Upper Peninsula. Did a search for best burgers in the U.P. on google and this is what popped up. Whoever put it on google, thank you! Burgers, fries, onion... More

This is a takeout joint primarily. The burgers are good. The policy of not taking credit cards is not good. This establishment is right across the highway from a JB's Big Boy. There is a good service to drive up patrons, but the burgers are so messy you don't want to eat them in your car. $20 gets you two... More
