Good food, reasonable prices, friendly waitress. Interesting decor - old photos of icebreakers and ships.

Dropped in 7:00ish on a Sunday evening in October. Only a few tables occupied and one waitress/hostess/cash register clerk. Food was adequate and reasonable. Service was fine. Had soup and salad and sandwiches. Can't speak to dinners.

Very good food, and lots of it, for a reasonable price! Even being busy the staff took the time to chat with us about local places and events. Very accommodating for a large group too.

We always go here for breakfast, and I always get the cream cheese layered French toast bake! Oh my goodness! It's so rich, and it's soooo good! Great food and service. Reasonably priced, and family friendly!

This is our second visit to this restaurant in just as many years. The staff makes you feel not only welcome, but completely at home. They will joke around with you as well as help you with sights to see, or a little history. Food is great as well as the prices.

When on vacation at resort areas you expect to pay more for everything, however you expect it to be good. We arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday night, they close at 9:00, the place still had several tables dining. The waitress was very friendly and recommended the whitefish. We had it fried with baked potato and salad, also tried the... More

We ate at many places in Saint Ignace and were overall impressed. Northern lights was our last stop and the food was just not that good. The ribs were over cooked and had so much sauce that it had to be scraped off to eat them. My wifes shrimp alfredo was tiny and the pasta overcooked. When we got the... More

There were few choices for breakfast and no real fruit to order. The bacon was over cooked, the eggs were poor quality, and the coffee was lacking. The food was over priced. Not sure why this came up when I searched family friendly restaurants. While they had highchairs they didn't even have a changing table. Also the waitress tried to... More

My wife and I love breakfast and this one met our expectations, a great breakfast. It's hard to get eggs cooked just like we like them, they were perfect. American fries were to die for as was the bacon. Homemade Texas toast was exceptional, rye toast a bit overdone. Atmosphere nice and the service was first rate. Overall we loved... More

We arrived in St. Ignace and were looking for a place to have dinner. Some places were absolutely packed, then there were others with almost no one in them. The weather wasn't great, so we figured let's try a slower restaurant. That was our mistake. This restaurant looked like it could be a hidden gem, but shortly after we seated... More
