This is a great place to go for a desert after seeing a movie at the Main Art Theater. Its a few blocks, but worth the walk. We sampled their Makinaw Fudge Ice Cream- it was a great as Baskin Robins.

The pastries never disappoint - they taste as good as they look! Always a treat to stop in and get some cookies to enjoy with morning coffee.

This used to be our go to for dessert. We have not been here for about a year due to us moving, but decided to take a drive out. I ordered the coconut cream pie, the filling was dense and bland, and the crust was dry and hard, definitely old. My wife ordered the chocolate cake, it was still half... More

We walked into this lovely European pastry shop hoping there might be a bit of 'sans sucre' but, alas, no such luck except for sugar-free chocolate turtles (purchased 1/2 lb) The tortes & many other baked delicacies were absolutely gorgeous 'eye candy' ... presentation very enticing! 😋

Love this place. All Greek standards are perfectly prepared. I get my Greek Easter bread here too. Good enough that my mom likes it !

We love Astoria! Their desserts are excellent! However, our visit last night included a very crabby employee who seemed upset to be working there on a Friday night. He barely spoke to us and never once cracked a smile or said Thank You. We will probably return but I hope our next visit includes happier employees.

Love their biscotti and spinach pie but be sure to have them microwave it for only twenty seconds if you want it warm but not doughy. I cut down on my sweets but have to say that when I try something else it tends to look much better than it tastes. No childrens ice cream cones? It is usually jammed... More

Stopped here recently after anniversary dinner in Royal Oak. The selection of sweet things to eat is amazing and made the choice very difficult. If you're looking for something sweet in Royal Oak, this is definitely the place.

We were walking around Royal Oak looking for a place to grad a quick bite to eat, we saw the shop's sign and figured we'd give it a try. We were disappointed. The pastries were all dry, not fresh, and overly sweet. They weren't all that cheap either, just gross tasting. The guy behind the counter seemed to have an... More
