Wow, the sliders her are excellent, and have a good price also. The decor is "80's Style" with many pictures of bands and singers from the 80's to 90's. I will come here again with my friends. They also serve alcoholic beverages.

Wife was reluctant to eat here because its a greasy spoon, but I don't mind it and I ate 2 singles and fries. I dined here before with no issues. I hadn't eaten all day and was starving. We noticed how dirty and greasy the counter and menus were. Service gal behind counter did not clear plates and napkins from... More

Comet burgers has a short menu, but every single item on that menu is phenomenal. They make sure you get plenty of pickles and sauteed onions on each slider, and the fries are great too. Make sure you stop in after going out to the one of the bars downtown before (safely and responsibly) heading home.

Comet Burgers are the best sliders in town, hands down! They melt in your mouth.. Great shakes, and onion rings are really good too.

Just ate there yesterday and the sliders were great. When you add cheese and some fried onion to this burger it will satisfy that slider urge you get. Add an order of onion rings or fries to complete the deal and you wont go home hungry. Be more daring and order a shake but you will absolutely bust when you... More

Great sliders done better than White Castle in a dated diner like restaraunt.Mostly counter seating with a few tables for two. Great fries and old fashioned milk shakes will get you full very fast and won't drain your wallet.

This was a quaint little burger and hot dog joint. Nothing special, thin patty burgers for a low price.

Comet vs. Hunter House - You can't beat the ambience at Hunter House and the fries are better than Bates or Greene's. Lots of sweet, tender onion, which was actually the initial bouquet upon sampling a burger. The patty itself was a bit bland, as it had not browned and lacked that caramelized beefiness. Comet's patty AND onions had it... More

Lunch at Comet Burgers is more like a step into a Fifties time warp than lunch at a diner trying to create a nostalgic feel, except the large screens TVs that flank the front and back of the place show programs in color rather than black and white. Sit at the counter or sit at the few tables that line... More

When it's late and one doesn't want to do a Coney Island or the neighborhood iHop, Comet is a great alternative. No nonsense food here. It's straight forward sliders with a hefty side of the grilled onions. Don't expect to come in here expecting some chic expensive nouveau slider- this is fresh off the grill goodness here. It's no muss,... More
