Nice people, clean. I'm a veggie, and they have the best potato burrito I ever had. Hours open are short, but worth it!!

Two couples had breakfast today and we're very pleased. I got the Breakfast Burrito, thinking it would not be too big since the price was right, but I was wrong. It was huge and tasted excellent. My wife had the half order of biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon and agreed that it was a taste of Southern comfort... More

Super friendly server (Chris) told us about the day's special. BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. We were about to order it off the regular menu. Great save! Burger was delicious. BBQ sauce tangy but not overpowering. Onion Ring garnish set it off nicely. Even without the discount, it would have been a good deal. The prices are very reasonable, lower than one... More

Last time I was at this establishment, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! And to think that employees use them...makes one wonder...service was slow..food was horrible. I rarely see any vehicles at this place when I drive by it (which is about every day)...

On our way back home to Central Michigan, we were hungry for breakfast or lunch. Alan's was the first place we saw (other than chains which we tend to avoid on vacation) so we stopped to eat on a Sunday. It was about 11 am. There were people eating there, not packed but not empty. The interior reminded me of... More

Spouse & I stopped her for lunch today. We were greeted by a nice friendly lady. Service was quick & food was exceptional. We both thought the fries were the best we had in a long time. Prices were equal to any other sit down restaurant.

On my first visit the breakfast was pretty good. Eggs Benedict was average but a good deal at $7.99. Waitress was very friendly. Second visit was not good; it was gross. The corned beef hash omelet was supposed to come with Swiss and instead was topped with two slices of some sort of processed square cheese. My friends omelet looked... More

I was with a bunch of golfing buddies looking for a place to have breakfast and we stumbled onto Alan's and decide to give it a try for breakfast. I ordered eggs with grilled potatoes and whole wheat toast, nothing too difficult. I was unpleasantly surprised when I got my plate and both the toast and the potatoes were burnt.... More
