We had reservations at 5pm for a party of 3 and were seated shortly thereafter outside on the covered patio overlooking the water. Our waitress was Michelle, who was having a bad day/evening by her demeanor. No one else was on the patio yet so...More

The lettuce wedge salad was a great start. 1/4 lettuce head covered with plenty of dressing. On top were all the usual suspects, including carmelizedr onions, which is the first time I have seen these on the lemon wedge salad. My main course was Blackened...More

Outstanding in every respect. Armed with a reservation for 19 and despite the restaurant being crowded, we were seated after only a short wait - enough time for a glass of wine on the front lawn overlooking beautiful Douglas Lake. The restaurant is known for...More

These people seem to think that they have such a special restaurant that they don't need to care about customer service.…so stringent w/ their seating regulations ---- mandated by their teenage hostesses. It is definitely 'our way or the highway' kind of place. I have...More

This is a very average restaurant and not a particularly good value. The service was outstanding. The lake fish is good but nit as good as many places in the area.

No there is not a dress code. Some people arrived by boat and were a little more casual than others. I think you would feel comfortable in any casual clothing.

The Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse, known to locals as the "DLB", has a rich history of providing great food and service in a rustic log building overlooking Douglas Lake. The two giant fieldstone fireplaces offer the perfect dining ambiance during the winter* and shoulder seasons. Summer guests enjoy live acoustic music at the lakeside patio or dinner on the screened-in dining porch.
