...and that's why it's not surprising to find a line outside of the place waiting for them to open for dinner! It's a bit small inside for the amount of traffic they seem to get, but the food is ALWAYS worth waiting for. We've only had the sushi a couple times there as well as sashimi but it's always tasted... More

Ajishin is definitely the best sushi place in greater Detroit area. They provide traditional sushi, and udon at very reasonable price. Ingredients are always very fresh. Their grilled fish combo and chirashi combo are something you really need to try. They do have a long line both for lunch and dinner, but you can call ahead to have them put... More

We went in for lunch, I have been on this place a few times. The food was good but the place was too small. They ought to expand the room, rent the store nextdoor and make it bigger. They said customers lined up far out at weekend. They really have to do something about it!

Staff is great. Food is excellent. Be prepared to wait as there are always people waiting to get in to eat, whether it is lunch or dinner. The wit, however, is worth it.

This place is always very busy. There is no other Japanese restaurant can beat the price and the taste of the food. This place is our regular place to go for the good food.

We went to Ajishin for a Saturday lunch and were not disappointed. Nice staff! Delicious and healthy food! Little bit of waiting for a table but that's okay.

Small Hole in the wall place. Seating is on benches. Potentially run and operated by family members. Very efficient since every waiter will be glad to help you. Since the sushi is so good, it comes with the con of being crowded. Expect a wait of 30min unless you get there early. They take call ahead, so I recommend it.

This is the place everyone says is the best around. I am not so sure about that. It is good and I will go back, but I find it very annoying. It is small, crowded, and disorganized. People walk in and cut in front of you to get a seat. Not sure that is worth the trouble.

It has been a few months since I visited this excellent & reasonably priced Sushi restaurant . However over the past 5 years, my family & friends have literally always enjoyed our meals & service here. There is often a wait on popular nights but the food is worth it .

I've been to Japan and this place is on par with anything that I've experienced over there. While it's impossible to get sushi as fresh as in Japan, the sushi I had at Ajishin was still excellent and the best that I've had state side. I often pair sushi with the Ajishin udon bowl, which is excellent as well. Best... More
