Great setting in the square of Monflaquin. The service was great, relaxed yet attentive and lunch was served swiftly without being rushed. The food was delicious and wholesome and the Set lunch time menu was exceptional value. A really laid back, un-fussy restaurant serving really nice food!!

Situated at the top of the Place des Arcades in bastide village of Monflanquin this a lively restaurant for lunch. There were six in our group and we had an assortment of different plats for lunch, none of was disappointed with our choice. Super creme brushes to finish off all accompanied with a decent house rose and. red. Well worth... More

We managed to get a table of six quite quickly given it was a very busy evening in the square. Staff were helpful and friendly. Patient with our limited French! Food was satisfactory but not outstanding. Quite pricey for food especially desserts. Chairs were very uncomfortable however surroundings were very pretty. In summary staff , 10 out of 10. Food... Positive : the food, we had confit de canard and magret de canard, cooked to perfection. a pity the mashed potatoes were quite tasteless. the presentation on the plate was good and the beetroot accompanied well the magret Now, the negative : it took more than 20-25 min to get someone to take our order, maybe the restaurant was quite... We ate in the early evening, with our grandchildren. Service was glacially slow, but friendly. Food not brilliant. My burger was excellent, but that was the best of it. Kids' pizzas had thin bases and not much filling. My wife's Caesar salad wasn't - tasted like a thousand island dressing or similar. Daughter-in-law's ushroom risotto - meagre portion, not much... Nice restaurant at the square of the village, we orderd poulet aux curry, but the chicken was raw! They made new one and that one was super! Also the dessert was great. Nice Chardonnay! If there is place take a seat in front of the restaurant, in the back there's a lot of draft!

We have eaten here twice in the last week. Food superb served in a restaurant with a Parisen ambience. The owner is the chef in residence. The food varies from traditional French to additional Asian offerings presented to a very high standard. Wine choice is very good and prices very fair.
