The rooftop bar is really nice and provides a great view of the Lake. The beer is cold. The food is reasonably priced and what one would expect as pub food.

We were staying at the marina and needed some lunch within walking distance. It was almost 90 degrees but luckily their AC was ice cold. We both had the burger with the Flavortown special sauce. They were 1/2 pound but premade and probably frozen. They were pretty stingy with the fries considering it was $1.50 extra for them. The burgers... More

Stopped after the art fair for lunch. Was not busy. Waitress was lost, or just didn't care. Still gave it a chance and ordered. Sat for over an hour and twenty minutes for our order. No communication from the staff. Watched not one but sixteen people walk out. Four were there when we came in, and they left just before... More

Chicken breast on the sandwich was the size of a wing, no seasoning nothing special it reminded me of a meal you would get for hot lunch at school but worse. Chips were stale and couldn't order a second drink despite the place being nearly empty that should have been our first clue.

Food is terrible! I used to be a regular back in the Fury Hockey days and the food was just ok then. Recent visit was half eaten, with the wish of not eating it at all. Burgers are pre-cooked and warmed up! Sorry, but one can tell the food is not a priority.

We were touring the old homes in the area and decided to stop for lunch. We sat up on the roof and had a great view and it was cool under the umbrellas on a warm day. Couldn't resist ordering the perch basket since we always like to sample the local fish. Wow! If you like fish and you've never... More

The Tipsy Toad is in a neat area close to Muskegon Lake. An open area on the roof is great for drinks, appetizers and meals. I had loaded nachos and and an ice cold beer. Take a walk after by the lake!

The Tipsy Toad sits atop a building across the street from the Visitors Center. We found the perch sandwiches to be very good (good bun, tomatoes, lettuce and tartar sauce) and the french fries to be....well....french fries. The view from the rooftop was nice. It would be a perfect spot to view the fireworks on the 4th of July.

I visited on a slow Thursday night, sat on the deck upstairs which has an iffy view, would be better if there was an event going on. The service was decent, given how slow they were, the food prices were shocking when I looked at the menu, and even more shocking when I tasted the food -- not impressive at... More
