For our last night in Alsace, we chose Le Stewala and were very pleased that we did. It's not the cheapest in town, but I'm sure it's the best. We shared a mixed salad starter - everyone must, surely, as it's far too much for...More

During our stay in Turckheim we wanted one night out for a good meal and this was not a disappointment. Although the information on the web said the restaurant opened at 18.30 we found it didn't open until 19.00 so we reserved a table and...More

It was very quiet on the evening we went, in fact for most of the time we were the only ones there, but the waiter was very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. We had the rognons de veau (which were amazing!!)...More

Our table had the piglet, duck and tartiflette. All great local Alsacian fare. Local beer on tap had run out, but really that's being overly critical. It was a great experience of food and Alcasian hospitality.

The food is fantastic and the atmosphere and service is great. We'd guess it's run by the owners, but there was one very busy very friendly lady at the front of house and one chap in the kitchen turning out incredible food. It's all typical...More

Make no mistake, this is a relatively small place and booking, it seems, is essential - several people were turned away on the night we ate here. There was only one waitress on duty that night, this may be the norm, but she was in...More

We enjoyed our food here, but I feel that for 190 euros for 4 people, we should have really been blown away.More

A wonderful lunch. We stumbled upon this restaurant after arriving late in town for lunch. The restaurant was busy and the food looked superb. We were given a table and served promptly. Despite approximately 40 covers and just the chef and his wife on duty...More

We spent two evenings at this small restaurant. The first evening we enjoyed excellent lamb, beautifully presented. The second evening I ordered a steak, which was splendid and my friend enjoyed veal kidneys in a superb sauce. The sorbets to follow were delicious. I can...More

Great, small little restaurant. The menu changes often, but I had their chicken and my wife had their steak. Both were perfectly cooked. Dessert of a cheese plate and profiteroles. Profiteroles were excellent. Highly Recommend.
