We made a stop in Leon to have lunch, the best option to have lunch in my opinion, even for non-vegetarians they have very tasteful meal options. The garden is beautiful place to rest, read, enjoy the tranquil setting of the garden in a hot...and bustling city center of Leon. Would definitely came back if around.More

We came here for a taste of healtby food and damn, it was amazing. We asked for a vegan burger "La Nica"; was a slightly spiced burger, mainly made of beans. The flavor was just fantastic and the texture was so similar to meat. For...dessert, we asked for a "Pan Chocobanano" and with a cup of coffee, was very delicious. This place is highly recommended.More

My girlfriend and I can't get enough of this place, the healthy food here is innovative and incredibly delicious, the home-made kombucha is a real treat; when I saw it on the menu I couldn't believe my eyes! The garden setting with pool is a...tropical paradise, it is so beautiful that we often spend the entire day here reading and relaxing, and obviously eating and drinking. Like all the food here, the cakes are entirely home-made with the best ingredients and love, and are naturally super tasty. My favourites are the breakfast mango bowl, roasted veg salad and the green smoothie, but there are always new things on the menu which, since we have stayed in their Airbnb for a few nights, we have had the pleasure to try!More

Coco Calala is nothing short of a mini paradise in the busy city of León. Set in a colonial courtyard, it’s so easy (and ever so tempting) to wile away a day here, relaxing amongst the tropical plants and taking a dip in the pool...to cool down. Over a series of visits my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of sampling many of the menus delights. Homemade kombucha is an absolute winner, and whilst I prefer the delicious breads and amazing cauliflower tacos, my boyfriend will rave nonstop about the mango bowls, of which he had a fair few! Everything is nourishing, fun and made with love. Coco Calala also offer 3 rooms on Air BnB, and they are beautiful. It’s such a tranquil place to stay - and you would almost forget you were in the midst of a city when spending a night here. We were so delighted to see that, despite the current business closures due to coronavirus, Coco Calala are still offering a takeaway service, serving up amazing cakes, breads and kombucha to those like us, who just can’t get enough, to take home. Floor and Enrique will stop at nothing to make sure you enjoy your time here. I can’t thank them enough, it’s small family run businesses like this that make all the difference, especially when you are a traveller looking for comfort in a foreign town.More

We were advised to visit by several people we met en route to Leon and were not disappointed. The vegan food was delicious and a welcome change from rice and beans and the pool was fantastic. We could have spent days relaxing under the coconut...trees. Definitely a place to visit if you are in Leon.More
