Nice place but the waterhole is to far away from the rooms. The campsites are close together so you have no privacy .

This is one of the main entrances to the park and thus where you buy your permits. Buy for all the days you need one at the first occasion as service is unfortunately slow, bored and inattentive. There is a small very hot and dark...More
Stopped over for lunch only. Menu more extensive than expected, Food was efficiently served, (they were not crowded at all), and tasty. A little more costly than it could have been Travel was in 2016, not 17
Fine as a place to eat nourishing meals if self catering does not appeal. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was very good and the wine even better.. Breakfasts were also good.
An old fort, basic accommodations, clean, and very spacious. 4x4 essential to get here, best to go with a touring group as the Parks are not maintaining the roads. Once you are here, its a little piece of heaven. Everything in the park is immaculately...More
...but the restaurant is open and they serve the usual toasts and sallads. The food is, at the best, mediocre. .
Limited menu with few choices for dinner. Meat dishes were okay but liberally doused in peppery gravy. Sitting outside was nice. Breakfast was disorganised, buffet style but no cutlery or efficient service. Only the lady cooking hot food was around. Very basic.
As our room had no braai and we had missed lunch, we were happy to enjoy their dinner. Good experience, chicken salad was good and eland steak really excellent. They also had wines on reasonable prices. Service was very friendly.
Grabbed a sandwich, salad, and bottled water here for lunch. Prices are reasonable, service was polite and reasonably quick. Food was basic cafeteria food - not better, not worse. Seemed clean. I wouldn't hesitate to grab a bite here.
not enough plates, not enough food, poor food, and they searched more than a half hour for my wine, stupidly enough you don't have another choice but to eat here. A pitty!
