Finding it was a little difficult, but well worth the search. The atmosphere is pretty cool, and the food was amazing! I haven't had frog legs since I was a kid, and my first time eating alligator, so yummy. The red velvet cake was to die for, never had a dessert that makes me want to drive 2.5 hours just... More

We really enjoy the food at Lagniappe's, we feel like we are down south near New Orleans when ever we are there. The owners and the wait staff are excellent and the music is down home awesome.

Came to Marquette for grandson's hockey tournament. Had the best Cajun/Creole food that I have ever had north of New Orleans. We had Shrimp and Grits, Crawfish Etouffee and will be going back before the tournament is over. Great food and beer selection. Well worth the 10 hour trip from Columbus, OH.

My Florida days turned me into a cajun-foodie. I miss the mudbugs and the festivals! Lagniappe brings me right back there- each and every time. The atmosphere, the open kitchen- attentive ownership on the floor during dinner service. It's that passion for food, friends and fun that you swear just jazzed in off Bourbon Street. My go-to dish is their... More

Authentic Cajun/Creole food. By far the best restaurant in the UP. Better than any restaurant in Grand Rapids!

This was my first visit. The bartender recommended a great local beer and the Bayou Bouillabaisse. Both were excellent. After dinner he followed up with a recommendation of bread pudding. Another fine choice. The food was great but I over ate. The meal was topped off with great conversation with people sitting beside me at the bar, and the friendliness... More

Wow. Love this place! Excellent service, live music that's not overpowering and best of all, fantastic food! Gumbo is fantastic. Also the blackened catfish with crawfish etoufee on top is great. My husband had the seafood bouillabaisse and thought it was outstanding. Came back for lunch the next day, and enjoyed blackened gator bites and warm crawfish salad. Wow, all... More

Very tasty, authentic food. The drinks are excellent also, with the potency of the Hurricane drinks based on the the scale used for rating hurricanes. The pasta dishes, seafood choices and salads offer something for most everyone. You can choose your intensity of spice, or none at all.
