The food is good. It's not particularly imaginative by the standards of fine Marquette restaurants, but it's good. The problem is that, at these prices, one really wants much better than good. When we want to celebrate a special occasion, there are at least four other restaurants in town where we can get a more reliably special and celebratory meal.... More

Went for lunch during restaurant week and had a very affordable meal. We had the shaved beef tenderloin with mushrooms. It came served with rice rather than the bow tie pasta as described on the menu. It was very good but I would have much preferred the pasta. Portion was generous. Served with broccoli which was perfectly done. The first... More

Had a lovely evening at this restaurant. My husband and I each had an appetizer and salad and this was plenty of food. Very good and very interesting combination of flavors. Excellent wine list...good options for French wines. Great service.

The best steaks in town, service is outstanding.my baked potato was the size of a small football kind of like Morton but not so pricey we had a party of 12 and that was not a problem. Good Job to all

the prices in this place are insane. It cost me $40 for 4 SMALL glasses of wine. Then, dinner for 4 cost us $300 before tip. Portion sizes were almost nonexistent. Food quality was only average, about what you would you expect in a pub. My Caesar salad consisted of one leaf of Romaine lettuce topped with a few chopped... More

We loved the service and the food. Brandon was attentive but not rushed or overbearing. The aged NY strip was very beefy flavored and tender. I give this a 5 star experience

It isn't just for special occasions. You can still feel special and pampered for any evening out. If nothing on the menu feels right, which certainly isn't often, the waiters are fine if you improvise a bit, or go for two appetizers instead of a generously portioned entree. One of our area favorites and a good place to take out-of-towners... More

Expensive but good. You'll need a reservation for dinner. Perfect for Romantic dinner or special occasion. Lovely little place (a bit dark - but that adds to the ambiance). It is very pricy though - I think the cheapest entree was $30.

By the numbers: about 10 minutes to be greeted after seating, another 5 minutes to get out order, 47 minutes to receive our lunch (2 people), and a bill with tip around $50. Never again.

We decided to try it out for lunch because dinner is pricey. We were not disappointed- my French dip sandwich was as the best I've ever had! Am looking forward to going back when I'm in Marquette again!
