As there was a little breeze we wondered about eating inside, but frankly there is not much appeal inside this cafe. So we sat outside and enjoyed the magnificent views. Service and food were average.

To be sure, a sunny October afternoon with temperatures in the 70s (F) contributed to our pleasure. But really, all we hoped for was a reasonably priced lunch at a dog-friendly venue. We got all that and more at The Tea Room up on Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island, Mich. Far above the teeming tourists (actually, not that bad in... More

The Tea Room is situated inside Fork Mackinac. The view is superb from here. We enjoyed tea and a dessert. The staff was efficient and courteous. We then stepped into the fort for the cannon and rifle shooting demonstrations.

My husband and I had lunch here during our visit to the Fort. It was a beautiful sunny day and the view from the patio is just spectacular. We had soup and 1/2 sandwich which was quite nice.

Situated inside the Fort, this restaurant provide good meals with a view that overlooks the city and lake. Sit back, enjoy your lunch and relax. Meals were a little pricey, but when you're on the island, expect to pay a little more for a meal. You won't regret trying it out.

After exploring the Fort Mackinac area for most of the day, this was the perfect stop for a light lunch. The view is just breath-taking of the island and the harbor, probably one of the coolest spots on Mackinac Island. The staff here is incredibly professional and courteous, they definitely went out of their way to make the visit feel... More
