Oysters were fresh!!! I just moved from New Hampshire so I know great seafood. Staff was friendly and helpful and gave me lists of places to go in the area. Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. Slight seat with moist goodness inside. Oh and 7 layer carrot cake... if you are a fan you'll love this. Its maybe the best I've... More

A great seafood restaurant. Service was good. The Chilean sea bass was delicious. So was the Brussel sprout salad that had a nice light dressing. The trio dessert is a must to order. The banana bread pudding is my favorite.

I was in town for a biz trip and the hotel shuttle driver told me it was a place he could drive me there. I was seated right away and the waiter was fast with the water and to take my order. My appetizer came fast and was good. Then the main entrée took a lot longer and the waiter... More

We made reservations ahead of time worth it. Gets busy fast. Meals are fresh and well made. We started with the artichoke dip with seafood so light and creamy! Loved the spinach goat cheese and pecan salad. Hubby had the ice burg wedge with home made bluu cheese dressing. Either salad could have been a meal. We split the salads... More

One of the better seafood restaurant in Lansing. Great for family or couples. Good variety on menu. Ambience and services very good. Parking was no problem as restaurant is located in a shopping mall.

Try to eat here when in area, best seafood, always fresh and we'll prepared. Never had anything bad. The lunch menu is wonderful if you want smaller dishes. The Bourbon glazed Salamon with root veggies delicious...The dinner menu is more extensive. They have nice wine list, draft beers and yummy mixed drinks.

Very few places, this far inland, carry sashimi grade raw fish. These folks do. Additionally, their other selections also reflect high quality. A seafood restaurant where customers can actually see into the kitchen are rare. Think now, if they conceal it, why do they conceal it? Enjoy the attentive service and wonderful foods.

Our server was fabulous, along with the food! He was on top of all of our needs without being a pest. He was super sweet and informative. All of out food was hot, delicious and on the table in a timely manner. We mostly ordered seafood. The bread was soft and crispy at the same time. Our dinner lasted about... More

This was my second visit to Mitchell's Fish Market. Each visit was pleasant. The food was great both times. I really like their sticky rice and use of spinach. Only concern- Price still feels a bit high for portions.
