Just visiting the area and found the closest coffee shop. Absolutely delightful. I had a great sandwich and a wonderful chai latte and a wonderful discussion with the owner. I'll be back in again this week

Great owners, baked goods, coffee, soups and ... We came late in the morning so we could try it all. The "turtle" is the cheesy pastry I've ever had, got have a cup of coffee with it. Loved the soups, and the local art.

Fantastic stop for a break away from the rush of the day! Coffee beverages are a specialty and the homemade items are a tasty delight! Stop in and treat yourself to something sweet and a boost from a mocha!!!

Unassuming, yet lovely. Parking can be a challenge, but I can usually find something on the street within a couple of blocks (90 minutes are free at the meters). It only has a few table so it never feels crowded or noisy. Much nicer than the chains.

Why hasn't anyone reviewed this? I love this place, the owners are the nicest people ever, the coffee is amazing! They have the best mochas there as well as a welcoming atmosphere. You're even allowed to bring your dog! It's so much better than Water Street! They also have good baked items such as muffins and cookies.

A pretty typical coffee shop with average pastries. The workers were very friendly to the 2 locals but a little dismissive to us as the only other 2 people in the cafe... which is fine, but we enjoy talking to locals to learn a bit more about the towns we visit, especially somewhere that seems as cool as Kalamazoo. I had went here previously for coffee and thought I would treat my daughters to lunch. We ordered a small salad, which was good, and two sandwiches. I cannot believe the extreme lack of meat on our turkey sandwich. It literally had 1 very thin slice of deli turkey. It had a ton of lettuce, but this is not what... More

I love this place, it hasn't changed in years and that is a good thing. I was here daily when i worked downtown, now I only get to visit occasionally. Keep up the good work, its a fantastic place for coffee and food.
