The waitress was very rude, snappy answers, no smiles and slow. The coffee was very good. Utensils were dirty, the overall restaurant was dirty and cold. We sat under the vent that "Filthy Place-overrated" commented about. The vent was still caked with yuk. Except for my pork chops the food was cold. The green beans were worn out and obviously... Three of us went there for the first time yesterday for lunch. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which was expected because we had been warned in advance by other businesses in the area that it would probably be crowded because it's a very popular place to eat. You have to walk down about 6 steps... More

Polish Village Cafe is Eastern European comfort food at it's best. We had excellent soups (Kielbasa and a chicken noodle good enough to make you want to be sick in bed 😁), the cabbage rolls and beef rolls (aka rouladen) were outstanding. Potato pancakes reminded us of the ones my Mom used to make (ask for a side of apple... More

You are basically eating in the basement of an old house-and its filthy! the vents right near your table is caked with a thick layer of dust! The wait staff yell out to you like your cattle hustling you in to wait in line staring right at the dining guests! The polish food is average-when you upgrade the potatoes to... More

This authentic Polish restaurant serves outstanding Polish food. If you can't make up your mind, order the Polish platter and try a little bit of everything. The potato pancakes are out of this world! The restaurant is small and can get crowded. We had a group of 12 so were able to make reservations. If you want tasty, traditional Polish... More

Food is delicious and made to order. Authentic Polish food. Very small inside but part of the experience. You go down into the basement of an old building for the restaurant. Very cool place and a must try.

Had the opportunity to have lunch here in Jan 2017. I guess i am on the fence with the food. I heard allot of people say its not like it use to be but it is still fairly good to dine there. I had the city chicken it was rather dry like it was pre-cooked and sitting under a heat... More

If are looking for good old fashioned Polish food, this is the place. During lunch and dinner time, expect it to be busy, so have a beer or glass of wine: the wait will be worth it.

We went for lunch yesterday. We both had pierogis and liked them. They had a decent variety to order from. The dough was tasty and the fillings were generous. You can tell these are home made and so much better than any you can find in a store. I also had kielbasa, which was yummy. The restaurant is small, but... More

We have had lunch and dinner at the polish village cafe and each time it was excellent. The food is authentic polish food that tastes like an honest to goodness home cooked meal. The atmosphere is a perfect compliment to the food. We will be back!
