Took my 90 year old aunt here for a birthday dinner. Some of us did enjoy our meals for the most part. Dislike the tag team service. They do this at Bonefish too. Someone other than your initial server drops stuff off then darts away... who do you ask for another glass of wine... a replacement fork for the one... More
I always think Carrabba's is a bit overpriced, but their entres are fairly good and it's a nice switch from Olive Garden. We've had alfredo shrimp, chicken Marsala, lasagne, and a few others. All competent and a good experience.
My husband and I stayed in Grand Rapids overnight and were looking for a restaurant near our hotel. We tried Carrabba's down the street from where we were staying so we didn't have to deal with heavy traffic in the area. Our visit was delightful and the food exceptional. Our server was very attentive and competent. We both had the... More
Food was good, drinks were good, service was good. I guess they put too much pasta in a bowl that I got abdominal pains. I will eat there again, if they put little bit pasta in the plate.
I was eating by myself so I sat at the bar. Service was good, bartender continued to try to upsale me. I had veal marsala, very tender, maybe a bit salty. Fresh asparagus for my side. A bit pricey for the value of the meal.
Went there because my wife wanted to eat some Italian food. I had their special Steak, mashed potatoes, and calamari while my wife had the Chicken Masala and fettuccini Alfredo. Both dinner were delicious and plentiful. The service was good and the restaurant atmosphere was quiet and inviting.
Typical of any Carrabba's Italian Grill, the 28th Street Grand Rapids location has great food at a great price. Friendly staff, prompt service. Would definitely recommend.
While the menu doesn't offer many vegan options, I was able to customize their wood fired pizza - I let the server know that I was vegan and eat no animal products. Selected their build your own pizza, which includes three toppings - since I wouldn't be including any meat I asked if they could include as many veggies they... More
Arrived late on a Saturday night (10.00PM). We decided to eat at the bar as there were only a few people in the restaurant. The young lady at the bar (Lindsay?) was very friendly and helpful with menu selections. She engaged us in conversation and advised us of directions for our journey the next day.
