There are so many exceptional breweries in Grand Rapids, but in my opinion, Vivant takes the crown. BV is the whole package. Here's why: 1. Consistently fantastic Belgian style brews and excellent variety. My personal favorites are Farm Hand, Triomphe and Undertaker. 2. Mouth watering...More

Duck nachos were legit! The hazy Ipa was refreshing and delicious. We tried 2 samplers of 4 beers, all were well done. I'll be back!

When we all decided we wanted a hamburger, this was our mutual first choice. Cooked to perfection and served with truffle fries, this is our go to burger place when we are in Grand Rapids. It was a hot day, so the wheat beer was...More

This is a very cool looking Brewery, made in an old funeral home it says, but it could have been a church at one time too. Awesome stained glass windows, common seating area with high ceilings, and a nice bar area. They also have outside...More

Brewery Vivant is in a once-upon-a-time funeral home. The site has been restored to the basic design of the mortuary, including the stained glass and open beams of the chapel. Review your French. Vivant suggests very much alive. The brewery is. So is the kitchen...More

This was a stop with my son and his wife, my hubby and self. Service was brisk but not overbearing and the food and drinks were lovely. Good beer!

Really cool space. One of the most unique establishments in GR. Combine that with extremely well done Belgium inspired beers and food for a great experience in the hip uptown district. Try the duck nachos!

The beer was good. The service was good. Love the atmosphere. The only negative was the to go order. My friend ordered a piece of cheesecake to go. We opened it later and the piece was very, very small.

Full discloser...we didn't eat here. Why? Because we were seated on the patio and no one waited on us. The waiter stopped at every table except ours (we had been there first). He waited on a table of people that brought their OWN FOOD.....and then...More

Hello. They definately have a couple of smaller rooms to the right of the main front entrance. As the previous writer mentioned, this is a high demand establishment so call them.

Yes they do have both, heck out their web site which has the beer list and menu. You will not find main dish items that are gluten free but some appetizers and cider.
Do you have a full bar or just beer?
