Good service was food was decent. Chicken is what they're famous for, not sure why since I have much better chicken elsewhere. That being said, if you're there you need to stop in and have chicken, just because it's what they are know for and you can judge how good it is.
The staff and the decor were awesome. I loved having the Grimm's tales painted on the walls. We came here because I spent a part of high school in Austria and Germany, and my boyfriend wanted me to have a little taste of it here in the states. I was disappointed with the schnitzel. It was floppy and didn't seem... More
We went to try the chicken, we usually go to the other chicken place and thought this would just as good. It wasn't the chicken was not very favourable and was greasy. Very disappointing and the cole slaw was awful. Go to the other chicken place, worth the wait.
I'm sorry you were disappointed with your chicken. I do hope you spoke with your server to share your distaste. We would have certainly fixed the problem or even made a new dish for you. We work very hard to ensure our guests are very pleased with every aspect of their visit. Thank you again for your review. I do... More
Lunch and dinner were both very good. Server at lunch was outstanding and very friendly. Family style dinner in evening was a nice time for all 15 of us.
Good service, good quality food (Chicken dinner is what they are famous for) & I really enjoy the sides, especially The best apple/cranberry/orange salad/relish I've ever had & served ice cold with the excellent chicken dinner.
After spending 20 minutes to find a parking spot and 10 minutes to get a table it wasn't with the wait. Small portions and it cost me $65.00 for three people.
I appreciate you writing a review. I'm sorry you had to wait for your table and meal. We do offer reservations in advance to help so you don't have to wait and can be seated more quickly at times when we are busy. Please give me a call to discuss what about the experience you did not enjoy. I would... More
We ate here for lunch on a Sunday. We wanted to compare what chicken tasted better in town. We ordered lunch portions instead of the family style meals. The chicken wasn't much different than Zehnder's, which didn't impress us either. There wasn't much flavor. The thing that sets Bavarian Inn apart from Zehnder's are the Potato Puffs. These are delicious.... More

If you would like to talk about your visit and give me the opportunity to invite you back on us, I would appreciate that. Kim... More
Lots of food but not very good. The sauerbratin was very thinly sliced and not very tasty. This is a family style restaurant and there are many dishes served at each table. Not to our liking.
We had heard so much about the chicken dinners here that we had to try them. The salads and sides were all good (although none of us cared for the baked dressing); however, the fried chicken was disappointing. It wasn't bad....it just wasn't what we expected. I've had much better fried chicken at other places.

We are planning on coming to Frankenmuth for Christmas eve and day. Is the restaurant open those days?
