Good pasties that stick to your ribs at a very fair price. The staff was friendly and service was quick.

I've been buying Dobber's pasties for years, in my travels between the Southern Hemisphere and the U.P. Just bought my last batch and cooked them up on my way back from a trip to Marquette. All I can say is my how they've shrunken over the years, how the prices have gone up, and how the ratio of beef to... More

I looked forward to a good-tasting pasty, but got just an average pasty. I wouldn't go back for another one. The employees were very nice. The gravy that was provided with the pasty should be thrown away and replaced with a decent canned gravy. I'm not sure why they have a large window on the side of the building where... More

On our way east for a visit and stopped here for lunch. We bought two beef pasties for the road. These were delicious. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Thank you.

Pasties to go. Got some chicken and pizza pasties. The pizza was delicious. the chicken was a little dry. It needed more juice or some sauce of some kind (maybe sour cream?)

Dobbers is simple but their pasties rate amongst the best in Escanaba. Service is prompt but the condiments are limited. Plan on taking your food with you because there is limited seating. But pasties work as a handful meal. Mini pasties are available so for parties and pasties are available frozen or to be shipped.

Quick, hot and ready or frozen to travel. These pasties are yummy and a good size. Dine in or take out Dobbins also offers drinks and U.P. memorabilia for sale. Looking for a place to feed a family of 4 for $20 (not including drinks) this is the place to go.

Pasties seem to be more common closer to the Mackinac Bridge, so when I was driving on US Highway 2 near Rapid River, Michigan and saw a billboard for Dobber's Pasties located in Escanaba, I was pleasantly surprised. The inside of the restaurant is nondescript except for a map of the U.S. where you can place a pin where you... More

We were on our way up to the UP for vacation and wanted to get a pastie. We have had quite a few different Pasties during our travels, some good and others not so much, but Dobber's took the top prize for the most under cooked dough and meat that resembled dog food. I have been eating pasties all of... More

Went with family but didn't stay. They don't have gluten free pasties. Other vendors have them. Bought a few frozen pasties for the family to take home.
