Extensive and inexpensive menu. Many items that cater to Mexicans. Patrons include Mexican families and senior citizens which are always a sign that a place has great food of that type. Who would know better? Chichirones are great as beer food and an appetizer. Best versions of standard Mexican fare in the area.

Prior to visiting Mi Pueblo, my previous benchmark for authenticity when scanning a Mexican restaurant menu was whether they offered fillings beyond the usual chicken/beef/pork and went beyond to include chorizo and lengua (beef tongue), so I was pleasantly surprised to discover cabeza (beef head) and chicharrones in salsa roja here, in addition to all of the above. Indeed I... More

Delicious authentic mexican. Had a bowl (huge) of chicken tortilla we split and a portabella tostada, which is my favorite. Would recommend this place to everyone

First time here but definitely not the last! Excellent margaritas, ceviche was out of this world, service was great even with a line out the door (literally). Two thumbs up (four if you count the husband!)

The food is good, typical Mexican. Lots of families, a popular place. Nothing special but recommend as a casual place to eat.

I highly recommend trying Mi Pueblo if you are thinking about adding it to one of your Detroit spots. Everyone raves about Mexican town restaurants, but Mi Pueblo is far more fresh and authentic in my opinion. The place is located in an odd area, slightly industrial, but don't let looks discourage you. There is security in the parking lot,... More

I always come here. Super great food at a great price and such friendly services. My favorite thing there is the fajitas with horchta as a drink!

First time, very authentic and tasty! Had chorizo enchiladas and I'm very pleased. Was from the lunch menu and was just enough to get through the rest of the day. Saw many things on the rest of the menu I wanted to try! Very nice staff. Took care care of large tables at lunch time flawlessly!

We enjoyed dinner here with our sons. Our server, Yessica, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive and helped us with our order. The place was very busy on a Saturday night, and it looks like they do a lot of carry-out business as well. We liked the fish tacos and tostadas the best. Very reasonable prices, too.
