Perfect views. Reasonable prices and tasty upscale food. Quiet location as compared to most other Detroit locations. Ample parking including valet and top notch service. It's old Detroit high style.

The food was very tasty and the presentation was wonderful. I mentioned it was my husbands birthday when I made the reservations and they brought a lovely birthday dessert - this was very... More

We visited the Rattlesnake Club during Detroit Restaurant Week, when there was a fixed price menu. I had been there several times before and on all visits, the service was great and the food was fantastic. The menu for Restaurant Week was quite imaginative. I enjoyed wild salmon topped with lentils and my husband had curried lentils and couscous with... More

Had a business lunch at the Rattlesnake today during the international auto show week. It is far enough away from the convention center that it was not crowded. The service and food was excellent. I had the perch which was the best I have had in a long time.

The Rattlesnake is our "go-to" spot for special occasions, has been for years. It never disappoints. New options are offered as well as the traditional. This time we tried the Mexican Mussels, which were outstanding! Scallops excellent as expected, and gumbo fit the bill for one of us. For dessert, WAM knocks it out of the park!

Although our group did not sit outside, I immediately noticed how beautiful the patio would be a nice night in the city, the river just a short distance away, in a semi secluded spot; it has to have the best views and ambiance of any place on the river in Detroit unless you belong to a private club or are... I love the Rattlesnake. Great staff, friendly, relaxed slightly slow service, nice location, creative dishes, great wine list. That being said, it is slightly overpriced and many of the menu items are slightly too conservative -- the spicy sauces not quite spicy enough, the grilled fish/steaks a bit too bland, the cheese plate had no stinky cheese. But get the... More
