Wonderful restaurant. My husband and I went here before a show at Fisher Theatre. We had Lamb Chops and Shrimp and Grits and the Maurice Salad. Everything was fabulous! Entertainment on Tuesday's is also great.

Good location. A fine place to get a bite and to socialize. Parking can be tough some nights/weekends.

It's a historic building with a pleasant atmosphere (only diminished by the noise factor.) The menu has a lot of variety and satisfied my carnivore guest and my pescatarian self. The food was tasty and nicely prepared. The parking was free at lunchtime at least.

We walked to Union Street for lunch after a Detroit Symphony "Coffee Concert" that they do on Fridays (also recommended), We were very happy with the food and would go there again. Does not have parking, but the Woodward Streetcar, which starts running soon, connects this venue with downtown Detroit and also the art museum. Dining room preserved from the... More

We've been coming to Union Street for years. One thing we love is that we can always find parking in the lot next door. Because it's a paid lot, it keeps spaces available for paying customers. The food is always amazing...always made fresh in house, they have creative different items on their menu. Our favorite is the Dragon Eggs Appetizer.... More

I haven't been here in a while and I am so glad I stopped in again. Excellent Bloody Marys with homemade organic juice and your choice of rim flavor options Better than Vivio's. The food was also very fresh and well prepared. Service was good, atmosphere is always great. Go here.

Good restaurant with a bar and comfortable ambiance. Located on Woodward in the theater/cultural area of Detroit. Near Wayne State University and the museums. Great food- loved the French Onion soup and the Michigan salad.

This place is ok. Prices are reasonable for what you get but everything is pretty standard. Food is ok, service is ok. Really nothing amazing here.

We had dinner here during an overnight stay in Detroit. We were seated right away and had a very friendly waitress. My wife had a lobster mac and cheese; she said it wasn't bad. I had the fish sandwich; heavily battered and and loaded with frier oil. Huge portions; we should have split something. I would probably try somewhere else... More
