Could not attend with the 59ers but I was told that the food was excellent. The ate shrimp and grits and bacon and eggs., etc.
We walked from The Cadillac Hotel and it 10 minutes max. Good breakfast and fresh ingredients. A few twists on the normal breakfast foods made it interesting. On a Monday at 10ish it was no wait. Reasonable price for a Downtown Detroit place.

We generally share a breakfast here, the portions are enormous. The service is efficient and attentive. Food is unusual and offers many varieties of breakfast favorites. They have added their special touches to the food items, Great spot for both the meal and people watching.
The Hudson Cafe, a few blocks from our hotel, was THE DESTINATION for a yummy start to the day. We visited three times while working in Detroit! The Buttermilk Pancakes and the Eggs Benedict were superb. Wish there was one in Houston, TX.
