Great place to eat to taste flavors of the olden days. This was a dinner with original flavors from the olden days. The environs are right out of the civil war days. I highly recommend it.

I will go to Greenfield Village just to eat at this place. The food is fresh, local and seasonal. The menu is always changing. My kids love the noodle straws. It's worth every penny you pay!

Where to start, the Henry Ford makes all of the pottery dishes and serving trays used to serve you. The food is mostly organic and locally sourced. Usually featuring local in season produce and homemade bread, deserts and carefully prepared entrees. Very clean, comfortable and charming atmosphere. Almost always a wait, there's a reason, it's that good. A bit on... More

Everything on this menu is tantalizing. Love the authentic local sourcing of ingredients. We ordered way too much food for three people but enjoyed our meal immensely.

We attended the special dinner offered during the holidays. It's family style. Lots of food, all of which was good. The regular menu has different items, but I am sure there are as good as the holiday meal.

We dined here on a holiday nights dinner package. There were 8 adults in our party. The greeter outside was awesome dressed in period costume and welcoming us to step back in time to the 1850s. We went into a dining hall with long wood tables. The tables were set with two tall candlesticks and above them were candlestick chandeliers... More

Welcome cool restaurant on a hot day. Great food and drink. Educational to boot. Henry Ford would be proud.

We went on a very snowy Sunday night and Greenfield Village was wonderful. The dinner at Eagle Tavern was just OK. The food was served family style, which was fine because there was plenty for our table of 8, but the food itself was rather ordinary - not really worth the $55 per person (plus drinks) charge. It was so... More

We had lunch there. It was an interesting experience and well thought out. The atmosphere is fun and the servers very gracious. The menu attempts to replicate a meal from the 19th century and has several interesting choices. I had the chicken and corn chowder, which was a meal in itself and I'm glad I didn't order a main course... More

This is an experience recommended for all. It offers menus from the past and communal eating tables. While dining, the staff will provide historical facts about the building and the menu. It is a lot of fun but if you are shy or not comfortable trying new dishes or sitting with strangers, it may not be for you.
