It's always warm and inviting here. Always good service. There's a fine dining side and "bar" side. PLUS, an attached deli with lots of exotic wines and foods.

We actually drove up from Grand Rapids just to try their vension and sauerbraten. It was definitely worth the drive. The meat was extremely tender, wonderful tastes, properly prepared entrees, nice wait staff. We really enjoyed it.

Just stopped in. What an incredible place. Braised lamb shanks, shrimp with curry sauce, breaded pork cutlet, venison and for dessert creme brulee. I definitely recommend if you are the type that enjoys adventuresome eating with International Style.

A complete experience. Gourmet restaurant at the higher price range, wine bar, super meat market, with good wine selection.

Having watched the Chef on the local news channel 9&10 for years we have always wanted to stop in and check it out. He is as gracious in person as on his cooking spot "Ladies and Gentlemen." His personality comes through in his preparation and presentation of delicious European style food. The beverages also were thoughtfully chosen as carefully as... More

We stopped in here for lunch on a rainy Saturday, it had been a long time since we had visited. The food was wonderful, just as good as I remember. We had morel mushroom soup, a fabulous old standby, bratwurst and sauerbraten. The service was a little slow since the scenic train came into town shortly after our arrival, but... More

We stayed at the Inn upstairs so we wanted to try the restaurant. We liked the European atmosphere, felt like we were in Austria or Germany. It was difficult to choose from the menu because it all looked so good. I had the soup of the day, not very European but very tasty, Texas Chili. And a tasting size plate... More

A group of 5 enjoyed dinner at Hermann's which began at the wine table and ended in the restaurant. This restaurant has several areas--wine table and meat counter. In this area you will feel that you are at Cheers as it is a group of locals which gather for social interaction and the sharing of wine. The middle area is... More

Had lunch there. Their mushroom dill soup is very filling, delicious and rich. Had Jaeger Snitzel, red cabbage and German potato salad served hot with bratwurst and kraut. All very authentic and delish. Great service too.
