Food will satisfy you at a reasonable price, but the view is worth the trip! Ride up the mountain on the lift and enjoy awesome views while eating lunch.

My husband and I stopped into Eagles Nest multiple times during our ski vacation in December 2016. The location is amazing- nestled on the top of the slopes overlooking the resort. Every time we got chilly, we stopped in for a few minutes to thaw out. They have a fire going with a circular bench seat which was perfect for... More

The chairlift takes you to and from the restaurant which is fun. The food at Eagles Nest is just OK, limited menu, nothing to rave about.

We loved our "first time" ride on the chair lifts to the Eagle's Nest. We actually trailed a wedding party to the top and took some amazing photos! However, when we went in the Eagles Nest for "Happy Hour" we were the only ones and disappointed that the place seemed dark, dingy and in desperate need of a makeover.

food was average for a ski lift area, but could have been a lot more attractive and could draw more people if set-up better

Great view and good food but if you plan to eat there check the Open Hours and compare it with the chairlift schedule; we went in the summer so they didn't aline often and you don't want to walk down a mountain if you don't have to.

Adequate drink and food options. Quaint but not cramped seating area with a large, round fireplace and nice views.

I don't care where you've skied, this place is a classic-as in 50+ years old-skier haven. It's even got a hand drawn Warren Miller mural from the 50s!! Reasonable prices, simple but genuinely great food, and a circular fireplace that could grace ANY ski area world wide. There are similar legendary places in the northeast, Colorado, etc, but this one... More

I'm used to a bigger hill when you say "Mountain" but when in Rome...do as the Roman's do. The Eagle's Nest had an AWESOME wood fire going, fairly easy to navigate bathrooms (could use a remodel), and spot on cafeteria style food. Just the middle of the road service you need at the Top of the Mountain...(regardless of how tall).

This is a really charming spot, with a large in-the-round fireplace, friendly staff, good food and a great view. Sort of prototypical - the kind of place one imagines should be at the top of a ski trail.
