Excellent shwarma and fresh squeezed vegetable juices, overall casual atmosphere with rapid service and tasty entrees

The food was good, but the service was very slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. The restaurant had 3 occupied tables, but apparently scrolling on one's cell phone screen behind the counter took precedent. And by the way, the electro-tech-trash-pop music blaring on the radio in the background made you want to bolt out of there as fast as you could...which was... More

This place has a variety of selections. I ate lunch and a juice which was wonderful and overall very healthy. I would totally recommend this place, lunch or dinner.

The last time I went there some of the food was burned. To be served burned food in an Arabic place is really a deliberate insult. When I complained they took forever to bring a replacement. I left no tip and split. This place used to be pretty good, I will never go back.

This place has great food. The hot bread and hummus are delicious as are their salads and entrees. And you can depend on the consistency of the preparation. I'm a regular here and really it is one of the best places to eat in the downtown area. My gripe is with the service. The only waiter working most nights(the guy... More

Great authentic Lebanese food. So good! Try the chicken shawarma sandwich and they have the best pita bread and hummus. Their smoothies are amazing too.

Recently we ordered the falafel appetizer and the lamb and mushroom with salad and rice to share. Pure heaven. The falafel was served with pickles and pickled vegetables, greens and tahini. The falafel was warm, creamy interior and crispy exterior. The spices on the lamb and mushroom was wonderful. We also had crushed lentil soup and had enough for another... More

Simply the best Lebanese restaurant in existence. Excellent, tender chicken and beef. Best hummus and toum in the region. Service is also top notch. Reasonable pricing, to boot!

Everything I am in Birmingham, MI, I get a takeout order for my family. This is some of the best lebanese food around! Anything you get on the menu is excellent. I have never eaten in the restaurant, so I cannot comment on the service or the demeanor of the staff.

I've been to Pita Cafe over the years and to me, it is almost like comfort food. Split Lentil soup, chicken schwarma with extra garlic, Falfalle - it's all good. In Birmingham, it is difficult to find quality food in this price range. It's nothing fancy but if you have a hunger for some good Middle Eastern Food.... this is... More
