If you are in Birch Run, Michigan you have to go to Oscar and Joey's Roadhouse. Known for their seafood and wild game menu the staple food is out of this world. I had the chicken Marsala with crab stuffing. It was marvelous. She had the favorite fish and chips, all freshly made and you can tell the fries are... More

The restaurant was not busy but I was not waited on quickly. The staff was busy shooting the breeze with some friends at another table. The menu is large and my food was just OK. It was close to my hotel (right across the street) so that was good, but I would not go out of my way to visit... More

Atmosphere - very casual, friendly, seems like you wandered into a local diner upstate somewhere, not on hotel row by the outlets off I75. Don't expect fancy, you won't get it. The outside appearance can make you wonder, but hold your opinion until after you go inside. Inside, lotta yakkin' going on, among the patrons as well as some obvious... More

This has restaurant has a different atmosphere! The stuffed animal heads took me back at first! The menu is extensive, the prices are good and the food is good!

I seen all the good reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Walking in their was a musty odor. It was very dark and had dead animal heads on wall, which scared my kids. The food was pricey for the small portions you receive. My fish was overly greasy, but good. Ordered water which came in a small glass... More

Went for drinks late afternoon to scout it out before coming in for supper. Had heard food was excellent but we were cautious about the looks of the place. I loved the atmosphere but the women in the group were not impressed with the cleanliness with old tattered food stained paper menus and serving staff wearing too much food on... More

We stopped by on the way home. So glad we did. Don't let the looks deceive you! The food was awesome! We had the fish and chips. The breading on the fish was light and flaky. The fries were hand cut and nicely seasoned. My husband loved the tartar sauce! We will be coming back!

Totally surprised when we went inside, not what we expected from the outside appearance. Food was excellent, homemade and ample of it.

Went for dinner after reading reviews on trip advisor. Menu was extensive but decided on fish and chips and a swiss mushroom burger with fries. Both were good. Reminded me of what my father called " a hole in the wall" restaurant, not much to look at but good, honest food.

Nice, friendly little restaurant . I've been there when we were the only customers & I've been there when I had to wait; doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason. I usually get the fish which is good, but my favorite part of the meal is the coleslaw, It comes in about a cup size portion (not those tiny... More
