Now called Lumber Barons. We were trying to find a place on the water to eat but the only place in Bay City is Hooters or Dockside which was packed. The food was good, nice selection on the menu, the craft beers were great and our waitress was really nice. The only bad thing was the little bugs flying around.

Lots of perking. A nice selection of some darker beers. The wood fired oven adds flavor to the pizza.

This is one of the few places with a live band that you can dance to. Actually they now have two live bands which is perfect if you don't like one or the other. Nice place to hang out with friends and listen to good music.

Went to Barts for a benefit. (Used to frequent this restaurant years ago when it was owned by others and it was wonderful). It was very busy and obviously the restaurant and staff were overwhelmed with the amount of people who came in. The service was very slow (OK , I get that). The wait staff was very unprofessional in... More

We were a party of four adults. Two of us ordered beef dishes; sirloin steak and Korean beef medallions. We both ordered them med. rare according to the photos on their menu. We were expecting the steak to look like the photos in terms of being red-pink inside. The sirloin arrived medium well, a little pink in some of the... More

The food at BARTs was very good. I had the brisket and it was tender and very juicy. My fiance had the stuffed chicken and it was amazing. We visited BARTs to start a weekend long brewery tour and unfortunately, there beer is just ok. There was nothing particularly wrong with it but it was nothing special. The worst thing... More

Our dinners were fine but nothing you would write about. It was pretty empty for how nice the place is. Meal service was slow but we wanted to enjoy the beer anyways. Now the beer is as good as you can get. Each style (and we tried most of them) was a perfect example of what it should be like.... More

We were quite disappointed in this large, beautiful restaurant near the Saginaw River. The decor is wonderful, lots of dark woods, polished to a sheen. Lovely setting. Parking can be difficult. Prices are too high for the food-which turned out to be quite bland. The steak was not cooked to our satisfaction and we returned it to the kitchen, but... More
