Every Wednesday morning, a group of friends and I would go to the Griffin for breakfast after Mass and before we would have to open the St. Philip Thrift Shop at 10:00. Our group could range anywhere from 7 to 15 of us and our waitress always had the table set up for us, she normally remember what everyone was... More

Great beer selection, awesome potato soup. Had the chicken wrap and it was also good. They also have a good Irish whiskey selection.

As stated in my title not a bad place for drinks, but for food not so much. In a recent review the review wasn't good because of what was on the TV (fox news) that should have no concern for rating a restaurant(those type of people are never satisfied anyway). the restaurant is too cold in the winter to relax... The service was terrible. The server did not tell us her name. Her name was not on the receipt. She was put out because I asked for a napkin. There were NO napkins on the table. Was I supposed to bring my own? She did not give silverware to everyone at our table. She NEVER checked back with us. We... More

Always a good place to go anytime of the day. Even just to hang out with a group after work, outside on the patio when weather is warm. Good chicken quesadilla's, fish tacos, soup, Reubens, and of course fries.

Please turn off Fox News!!! No one wants to see that crap while we're trying to have a good time. Sports, cooking, anything else. Don't cram the owner's political beliefs down our throats.......

Jill K, My first rule at the Griffin is that your satisfaction as a customer is first and foremost. Please don't assume what my beliefs are if you haven't bothered to ask me. By the way my second rule is we don't talk politics at the Griffin. However, we have 14 televisions that you may ask to have changed at... More

The artichoke dip was so greasy it was crazy. The mashed potatoes with both the bangers and mash and pot roast were from a box and completely flavorless.

I'm sorry your experience was less than what we aim to deliver. We go through 250 lbs. of potatoes each week, zero processed mashed potatoes. I will share your review with our chef and kitchen staff as we are always striving to deliver the best Pub dining experience we can. More

Located in downtown. We wanted lunch before going to the casino and found this place. Open from 6am to 2am. Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Several $7.99 lunch specials. The grilled cheese was good and the clam basket was great.

Great place to meet with colleagues or friends for lunch. The outdoor patio is an added bonus when the weather is a willing participant.
