The waiter was very good and understanding, but the food was marginal. Avoid the fish tacos unless you like dry food and black avocados. Expect to pay an additional charge for more salsa and sour cream.

We were traveling through Williamstown at dinner time and searched Trip Advisor for advice. The Purple Pub had high recommendations and we agree. We each had a burger and they were some of the best we have had in recent years. Our waiter was friendly...More

We had dinner here while the Red Sox & Astros were playing on TV but it was still easy to find a seat which was nice. My husband had a panini & fries & I had the wings, both were good. It is located in...More

the food was okay, the service was okay, and the location was good because we could sit outside and watch the world come and go. the staff seemed friendly enough.

Good place to grab a light bite and watch the game. Good atmosphere to catch up with up a friend, menu was a bit short but the fish tacos were decent.

We had lunch here after touring Williams. The whole experience was very average. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic, the service as average, and the food was nothing special. It worked to feed us but that is about all. The location is fantastic. I hope...More

I love sitting outside in the summer - but the patio area is not always very clean (bird poop). The food is fine - just what you'd expect - but nothing super creative or interesting. The times I have been there, the service has been...More

Onion rings are high on my list for appetizers. When we saw they were on the menu, we had to give them a try along with a local brewed beer. Both did not disappoint. The onion rings were cooked in Guiness batter and done just...More

Great place to stop for a quick bite. Onion rings were terrific, and beer was cold. There is outside seating in good weather.

When we were there in October there were many family groups with school-age children because they were having a weekly game night and many kids and parents actively participated in the obviously popular game.

Description
The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.
