We had lunch here after touring Williams. The whole experience was very average. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic, the service as average, and the food was nothing special. It worked to feed us but that is about all. The location is fantastic. I hope...More

I love sitting outside in the summer - but the patio area is not always very clean (bird poop). The food is fine - just what you'd expect - but nothing super creative or interesting. The times I have been there, the service has been...More

Onion rings are high on my list for appetizers. When we saw they were on the menu, we had to give them a try along with a local brewed beer. Both did not disappoint. The onion rings were cooked in Guiness batter and done just...More

Great place to stop for a quick bite. Onion rings were terrific, and beer was cold. There is outside seating in good weather.

We stopped here on our travels for lunch. I was happy to see a great selection of beers on tap especially local New England brewery companies. They had inside and outside seating. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. I would recommend anyone passing through...More

The salads were great! The Po' Boy shrimp excellent. Good bar. Prices VERY reasonable. CAUTION is the parking! DO NOT park on the street. 1 hour..no meters. There are lots, free, nearby. Service, friendly and rapid. Ate outside, the day was great.

The atmosphere and the food here is wonderful! The bar staff and the owner are some of the nicest people I have met. You can't go wrong with any food or drinks you order here. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite and just...More

I'll get the negative out of the way: the place was almost empty when we came in for a mid-afternoon lunch, but the service wasn't good. That said, when our orders finally did arrive, the food was much better than typical pub food. The paninis...More

When we were there in October there were many family groups with school-age children because they were having a weekly game night and many kids and parents actively participated in the obviously popular game.

The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.
