Artichokes doesn't sound like a great Italian place, however, it is. The food is absolutely great and we go there about once a month to enjoy it. The prices are a bit high, however, once you sit down and enjoy their fabulous food, you realize it is definitely worth it. Enjoy!

There were four in our party. We arrived at opening because we wanted an early evening because the next day was going to start early and go long. It seemed to have thrown them a little, because the chef and staff hadn't finished their meeting yet. But we were welcomed and treated to a lovely table by the window. We... More

I love the mozzarella and tomatoe salad always enough for two to share. Food is always so fresh tasting. Lobster tail desert is to die for.

Waitstaff need better people skills - doing them a favor eating here and spending your hard earned money. Food is tasty but in my opinion overpriced. After a few visits decided the atmosphere and the lack of politeness wasn't worth giving this restaurant another try.

Let me preface this with the fact that I am not a baby lover. i like MY child. I arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday with my Mom and my daughter who is 18 months. She has been raised going to restaurants so she knows how to act appropriately. I was received with a horrified look...Oh, you have a BABY!?... More

Waitress service was great however the entree I had was edible at best. I had the veal picatta and the home made fusilli was good and prepared properly the flavor was nowhere to be found. I asked for shaved parmesan and a small bowl of grated was brought to the table. I again asked dor shaved and a small block... More

Went for dinner. Staff was rude. took left overs home, not sure why. It wasn't very good. It didn't really matter because it was another tables food. Very pricey also.

Artichokes was a pleasant dining experience. We were guests of friends and were quite surprised to find it housed in the former Wakfield YMCA where I swam Laps several years ago. The owners have done a terrific job in transforming a rundown "Y" in lovely and pleasantly warm restaurant. The menu offers some unique choices. Our party ordered appetizers for... More

very good variety of Italian classic entrees and appetizers. One of the best Chicken Marsala I've had ... even better than my own. Not too sweet, very tender, generous portion. Good homemade fusilli. A bit pricey, but rather spend a few extra bucks on quality.
