She and I couldn't wait to go after reading the recent bad reviews. I wouldn't have gone based on these but She has a friend that lives locally and insisted we go, as she loves the place. It is as described, very dark, romantic and well decorated. The waiter was a bit quirky, kind of like a a radio DJ,... More

I should have listened to the reviewers! They were right. I called to see if they were open and I was told the only time I could come was 6:30. I didn't mind thinking that this was a sold out evening and the food was going to be great! I arrived and to my surprise there were more empty tables... More

Lovely hidden gem on side street. Enjoyed the Italian wine, meal was true Italian. Service was slow even though not busy. Pricey. When informed about a lethal food allergy, server was not as diligent as we expect. Would recommend to the management review "food allergy" protocols to assure a safe dining experience.

We were told this restaurant was excellent and it was very good. The menu was very upscale and small. Some foods were not to my taste but we enjoyed our meals. I had asked to switch one side vegetable for another and was accommodated.

After many restaurants were closed, we stumbled apon this one. Bad choice. The food was good, nothing special. But the service was indescribably awful. Our waiter accidentally stepped on my foot, with his hard as a rock dress shoe. It swelled up. He appologized but ran off. When I asked to speak with the manager, they said that he was... More

We took friends visiting from out of town and the four of us all had something different. The veal was tender and delicate, the bass was seasoned perfectly so as not to take away it's flavor, the shrimp and scallops perfectly cooked, and the risotto as good as if it were prepared in Italy. We shared a dessert because we... More

Food was bad, service was worse. Waitress argued with us as to whether food was cooked properly. My wife's fish was so full of bones it was inedible, despite the waitress's protest that all the bones had been removed in the kitchen prior to being served. When we protested the bill that included service (20%) the manager asked if we... More

We have bed a regular at this restaurant for the last three years. We went back recently and were so very disappointed. The waitress forgot to bring my appetizer. When I did remind her it was well after my husband finished his ( I couldn't find her any earlier). She didn't ask if if I was still interested in having... More

Waiter had the gall to state that my comment about the Salmon was "wrong, above wrong, above wrong, above wrong. I have tasted it and it was moist and tender. The kitchen is closed" and then walked away. Pretentious and rude doesn't quite make it.

The food is good, but the attitude is awful. Overpriced? Yes. Pretentious? Yes. I came with my wife and a gift certificate for $50. When I got my bill I found I had been assessed a 20% gratuity because I used a gift certificate and they were afraid I wasn't going to tip them. When I complained I was told... More
