Got my food and it was bad - fish, and it tasted like ammonia. Tasted my daughters food (Mac and cheese with chicken) - chicken was grey. Awful.

Hi Jd986! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We apologize for the experience and would love to make things right for you.
Food was delicious, service was great! Staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean and neat. We had the special Cape Cod Reuben which had fried fish instead of corn beef. We split a piece of tiramisu, it was very good. What a delight! If we...were in that area again, we would definitely go back.More
Thanks so much for this review, JanetandRon2014! We're so glad to see you enjoyed your experience.
This is a great local place. It has a reputation of great service and great steak tips. Easy parking and downtown Norwood is a nice area to walk after eating.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to leave this review, OnlyInRhodeIsland. We appreciate you!
This place is always a great visit. Great service, clean, and family style dining. I've been here three times do far in 2022. Each time, we left happy and full.
Thank you for the excellent review, WalkBoston. We love the praise! Thank you for being such loyal guests of ours at Conrad's Restaurant.
Never even heard of the place till i was told by my office, apparently it has been around for years, located on the main street in Norwood the outside looks like an old cinema or theatre? Anyway, greeted promptly for lunch on a Monday afternoon...and was seated right away. Very pleasant hostess. Large dining rooms (looks like 3 or 4 of them in a sort of open plan with dividers in-between) high tops as you walk in that stretch to the bar, we were seated there. Full bar with more tables adjacent. Our server was a young guy who was very friendly and efficient, he dropped off menu's and took our drinks order and was back with warm rolls. pretty quickly. I had heard the steak tips were very good but for lunch i went the Boston Jam Burger, it was awesome!! Served on a fresh bun with bacon jam, cheese, lettuce, tomato and fried onions with a side of steak cut fries, outstanding. #2 had the carbonara and added steak tips, there was nothing left to try but it looked incredible and was pretty substantial! Food was very, very good, looking forward to heading back.More
Thanks for the feedback and for stopping in to visit. It was a pleasure to serve you, Bellasarius. Come back soon!
I am in utter disgust. I called and ordered 1 lb of Turkey tips (on my lunch break) for myself and a coworker to a place that is a restaurant.. ASSUMING they would get cooked only to get to my car and realized they were...marinated raw Turkey tips… I called to say they were raw and the response was, of you need to specify cooked or raw… why on earth would I have to specify I want cooked food… bring them in for them to get cooked. I’m told I now owe $1.66 more. I pay it. I get them back, she proceeds to say and another thing I said 2 minutes on the phone, I said oh I heard 10.. yeah, no Turkey tips take 20 minutes (as if I should have known they weren’t going to be cooked) this all came from a manger… she says next time you need to specify because we get a lot of orders for raw tips… I’m sorry but if that the case the RESTAURANT needs to ask to specify not a customer who wouldn’t know that. If I’m calling a restaurant I expect to get cooked food. Absolutely ridiculous.More
I love the Turkey tips. They are some of the best food I have ever eaten. I would also recommend their peanut butter pie. It was amazing! I loved Every bite. Would Highly Recommend.
I've been to Conrad's a few times for dine in (patio dining) and take out. Highly recommend the steak tips! The fish and chips, chicken & burgers also very good. While the food is very good the service lacked greatly in terms of friendliness. Each...visit the waitstaff seemed annoyed from the moment we sat down. Well aware extra work for them because of Covid but it shouldn't reflect on the diners.More
Got takeout. The food has gotten so much better since they only do take out. Steak tips were cooked perfectly as we ordered them (and there were three orders all wanted a different temp). First time in years the tips were all cooked great. Need...some changes to the same old menu. Sides are always overcooked as if they are just sitting in a pan in the kitchen. Keep up the great cooking when you open up the dining room again. Maybe you can get back to the Conrad's that made you.More
We love their steak tips. I had the combo with tips and teriyaki chicken this time and both were great. They provide plenty of food, too ( I took home one steak tip and roll for a mid-night snack)
Great neighborhood restaurant with good food, friendly prompt service, and a casual but not too noisy atmosphere. The scallops and spinach risotta was especially tasty.
My partner and I stopped here with friends for lunch. We have been here before and always really like it. Great options for everyone. Good food, not expensive and great service. I have the surf and turf with steak tips and scallops, with fries. Really...good.More
We arrived on a Friday evening for what we usually get - a good meal at a fair price. Well, not this time. After a relatively long wait (it is popular) we were finally seated. We have been here often and enjoy their mozzarella sticks....They were fine this time as swell. We ordered the linguine with meatballs and a small pepperoni pizza. The meals were tasteless. How pepperoni can be tasteless I don't know. The meatballs (just 2) were small and tasteless as well. The linguine was limp and overcooked. Sad to say it was a waste of our time. Average because our desserts were fin as was the appetizer .More
We were surprised about this place. Very good food, more than reasonable prices. 4 people, with drinks, beers, food, about 125$....and the food was good.
We returned to Conrad's for lunch today. While they are famous for their Steak Tips ( which my son had), I tried the French Dip sandwich. Very good. I was a little surprised when it was presented on toaster bread rather than a French roll,...but it was a good alternative. My wife had the Chicken Parm Calzone - very good, tender chicken, light sauce, delicate crust, too big to eat it all at once.More
