Not sure what was going on or what this place intends to use as a theme or focus, but not very inviting. I see they are expanding which may help the odd atmosphere. Food was very good but our server was having a bad night....More

This is a small, but about-to-expand ethnic restaurant specializing in the food and wine of Moldova. I'm delighted to report that my three dinner companions and I had a fantastic meal tonight where each course (appetizer, wine, main, espresso, and dessert) was a culinary delight...More

The crepes dessert is to die for. So light, fluffy and yummy! Love the fresh salad with feta and the stuffed grape leaves. Closes early, but still totally worth a visit.

There aren't many (if any) eastern European restaurants in MetroWest so we were glad when an activity took us into Newton. I had the mititei moldovenesti--beef/pork roll with a fresh (and subtle) chopped cabbage with a baked potato and a hot/sweet sauce. It tasted best...More

We had previously had a nice meal here and decided to return. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. Although it was only 7, a number of of the items on their limited menu were not available, including the entree we wanted to order. Our...More

While visiting the area for a business meeting we came across this small special restaurant. We had dinner on a Thursday night at 7:00 PM. There were other patrons dinning but the 7 table dining room had openings for a few more guests. The Eastern...More

Like everyone else, I had never been to a Moldovan restaurant, but I was very impressed. We had the traditional cheese and potato pies for starters, and they were great. I had slow cooked lamb and roasted vegetables for a main course. We split two...More
