The restaurant has a nice ambiance and friendly staff. The food was quite good but the service was a bit rushed. I don’t like to sit for hours but we had not finished the appetizer yet and the main course was served.

Tartufo is a wonderful community restaurant. They don't try too hard but the food is nonetheless consistently excellent and the vibe is very pleasant. It's a great place to go on a chilly evening for a bit of nice company and warmth.
The evening started with the owner introducing himself. The restaurant was amazing with a strong emphasis on seafood.Tho the veal chop was outstanding atmosphere was great, service wonderful. When in Newton Center its a must to visit. They take reservations.
