We had a wonderful lunch outside overlooking the water. Great people watching place. Wine and beer are available and a nice selection of sandwiches and salads.

I bought a salad that contained 1 piece of broccoli! No greens are that interesting! Can you imagine serving such a thing to friends at home??

If a tiny cafe style pub tucked away in an old mill housing a wonderful hip bookstore is for you, you have found your home. Menu is small but food is delicious, healthy, and locally sourced. Beer and wine plentiful and fairly priced. Always cool folks, students, locals, taking in the ambience as the Sawmill River flows by. A truly... More

Nice location right next to a stream cascading over rocks. Overall a very rustic atmosphere in what started as a 1842 gristmill. Limited but eclectic menu - and our meals were very tasty. Limited number of tables and the biggest drawback - most are occupied by locals settled in for hours behind laptops. If you are there when some of... More

Lady Killigrew is a picturesque cafe & pub with a limited but consistent in quality menu. Casual yet quality wooden tables, a step above rustic feeling. Orders have to be made on the upper entry level, but they will deliver them to you downstairs. Some people do like to sit at the upper bar where it is brighter. There is... More

Love this place! Quirky, on the river, great food and drinks from unconventional teas to local beers and lovely wines. Come here and enjoy the ambiance and more. Favorite lunch is the warm lentil salad-- yum!!

Go here instead of the snotty Alva Stone. Fun engaging people, lovely walkway/alley way setting, book and record stores nearby.

We've been here a couple of times. It's part of our day-trip to The Montague Book Mill. The food is consistently tasty. My husband enjoys the warm rice salad and I love the grilled cheese and tomato sandwich with salad. The one thing that bugs me is the seating. The cafe is quite small. There are signs everywhere that weekends... More

We were out for a drive and lunch in the hinterlands. If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Lots of stairs to the parking lot and more inside. The order staff at the counter was friendly and helpful, but negotiating the stairs carrying drinks was tricky. Service is a tad slow and our soup was... More

the Lady Killigrew is next door to the Montague Bookmill, so it makes the perfect place to visit after choosing a used book or two. Get a seat next to the windows and watch the falls. Order, sit, wait for your food. Service is...casual. Prices are medium. Coffee is tasty. Wine and beer also available. Get a map before venturing... More
