We have so many great memories of this place, but that is gone. The local staff and management has gone and the entries are skimpy. Don't expect much and that is what you will receive. As soon as you walk in the door, you sense that this is a ripoff place. The luncheon takeout, however, is quite good.

This was one of my sister's favorite spots. She loved coming here for the sunset views across the water. Unfortunately, the view was obstructed by very dirty windows and screens. Although it was near end of the summer season, for a place with a famous view, you'd think they would maintain it better. Service was good. Place was pretty full... More

I've been going to the Home port for over 30 years. They used to serve twin lobsters and appetizers and dessert for one price. It was a great deal with great food. This trip was a bit disappointing. The baked stuffed lobster had very little stuffing that was too spicy for my liking. And, there was a $10 extra charge... More

Second time here. Food is always good. A bit expensive for a family style restaurant. Great views of the harbor and sunset. This restaurant is BYOB so you can save a little $ by not having to purchase alcohol. Be prepared for a corkage fee. $2 per glass for those of us drinking beer.

Over priced, mediocre food; surly maitre d'; pleasant but overwhelmed wait staff. Many other, better options available nearby.

This is a family restaurant as well as adults having fun! Dry county so BYOB. There is a porch outside and the restaurant is surrounding restaurant o you feel as though you are outside. Views are great! We came at last minute without a reservation. Highly recommend making a recommendation. We were seated at the raw bar and the rest... More

Great time here with our group of 8, 4 Islanders and 4 visitors. Fabulous seafood entrees including scallops on creamed corn with basil oil, and a special striped bass done to perfection, and a plate of oysters and clams for starters. Really outstanding food. The place was packed so reservations were a must, and don't forget to bring your own... More

Enjoyed the Upisland platters and keylime pie and the sunset was beautiful! Was a bit too noisy for a "romantic" dinner.

Our group unfortunately did not have an overall good experience. Shrimp was a bit undercooked and not flavorful, chicken was dry and tough, lobster roll was dry, grilled veggies didn't have that much flavor. 2 lb lobster, gazpacho and steak was good. Our server did a lovely job. The view is fabulous. It's a BYOB.

Staff, owner and food are all excellent. Had the Fried Seafood Platter! Pies were also incredible. Dry town so BYOB or wine. Perfect setting Asst the edge of this quiet little fishing village. Location of Quint's shop in Jaws. Just what you'd expect.
