Menemsha Fish Market is a local's favorite, even in the winter! Aside from sea food to purchase for cooking or eating at home, they offer delicious lunch choices. I highly recommend their hot lobster roll. They offer a cold version too. If you're a soup fan they have wonderful New England Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque. There is minimal seating... More

We visited the fish market during a tour. The tour guide highly recommended this place. The owner treated us to chowder and a lobster roll. The kids got to hold live lobsters. They are very warm and inviting to tourists.

Take out only, but the oysters were HUGE! And very tasty. Lobster bisque - not to be missed. Steamed lobster available for take out. You can sit outside or take it to the beach (a little cold this time of year, but it was wonderful in the sun). Nice people and grewt seafood.

Stopped here on a cool October day for lobster bisque. That was all we had, but it was fantastic! Highly recommend the lobster bisque.

Larsen's gets more acclaim, but Menemsha Fish Market has better chowder and bisque. Plus, it is open year around and not just seasonal so that deserves some extra credit. When they have a Lobsterzilla in the tank, it is even more fun.

This was my second lunchtime stop and I was a two time loser. My fish sandwich was a slimmy mess. My spouses crab cake sandwich looked and tasted like it was a Sysco product. The chowder was OK but heavy on potatoes and light on clams.

Apologies for the Simpsons reference, but we always say it when heading to Menemsha Fish Market. The chowder is excellent and not super creamy, chock full of clams and potatoes and always hot. Grab a cup, park down on the Jaws beach and stare out at the water. Do this in the cooler weather when you are not fighting the... More

When we visited Martha's Vineyard we went for a walk in Menemsha. We went to the shops an markets and found that this place was a great place to visit. When we went into the Menemsha Fish Market we discovered that they had soups to taste test, New England Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque. Both soups were delicious. As we... More

The clam chowder and hot lobster rolls are absolutely amazing! There is not a whole lot of seating but the tables they do have are right on the water.

Thank Jamie W
