Was on our way to a concert at Cary Hall in Lexington. Waxy's was only 5 minutes away. Nice place, I think it used to be the Hartwell House. Food was very good. We asked the waitress what to get that was quick and delicious...More

While in Lexington, we noticed a serious lack of down-to-earth pubs, which I had hoped for due to the town's historical significance. Sure, Waxy's is a chain, but we went off to the pub in the hopes of having a comfortable experience with decent food...More

The food was not good. I had to send back my meal as it was not what I ordered. The staff was unpleasant about it. The music was horrible. The place is very very loud. A lot of loud drinkers.

I went between 4-5 o'clock on a Tuesday. After receiving food and a draft beer and being seated, no one ever came back. I would have liked another beer. I had to wait in line at the bar just to pay. The fish and chips...More

We went on Thursday evening. The restaurant was very crowded and dark. Parking was a problem and one person in our party couldn't find the valet. Besides the darkness, the restaurant area is comfortable and nice. We ordered pretzels. I thought the menu said they...More
