If thats what you want, great. Staff a bit overbearing with there service, not earthy friendly; stiff. Fodd was excellent tho.

My wife and I had the seven course meal with the wine pairings. By the time we were done with all the little touches, it was more like a 10 course meal. Everything was superb - the food, the service, the setting. It is a...More
My wife and two friends visited The Wheatleigh on Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend. Our friends have dined there several times and recommended it, although it had been a while. The entrance and gardens are beautiful with an emphasis on Italian architecture and the...More
we were three for my husband's birthday and were seated promptly at a lovely table in corner. We were told that jackets are required for men but half the men there didn't have them on? We had the four course dinner and started with complimentary...More
The best and by far the most expensive restaurant in the area. This is much more expensive than the usual expensive restaurant, but top level food

The library restaurant at Wheatleigh is a very good restaurant. We ate there with an old friend and although Tanglewood was in full flow the restaurant was not that busy. Service was attentive and the food very good - quail, lamb cutlets and swordfish.

The property is beautiful and the setting in the green Berkshires is almost like a country painting. Service and presentation of food is first class, as is everything else. First Class all the way.
