Walking along Main St.,looking for a place to have supper,we were looking at menus from the outside. We came upon Alpamayo, and a couple sitting at a window table waved us in,giving us a thumbs up.We have never tried Peruvian cuisine,so we were game.We ordered the following along with steak on a sizzling platter?: Peruvian Rotisserie half Chicken,Arroz con Mariscos ,Ceviche Mixto.... Worth a drive! Great ceviche as an appetizer. Delicious sea food dinners. They had run out of Peruvian rotisserie chicken the night we were there -told the waitress we would reserve a bird for our next visit. And there surely will be a next visit. Great service and food. Parking in front. Prices are quite reasonable.

We eat at Alpamayo every few trips to Lee and always enjoy the variety and taste of their food and the authentic menu. Their ceviche (a national dish of Peru) is fresh and flavorful, and there are always a few to choose from. We enjoy their rice dishes, both meat and seafood, which are always spiced just right. You also... More

We happened upon this restaurant by luck and hit the jackpot. We saw that this was a Peruvian Restaurant and went to reminisce about the wonderful food we ate a few years ago in Peru. Before we ever set foot in the door, we were dreaming about ceviche but we didn't expect to find the real deal in Massachusetts. But... More

This place is clean and friendly. The decor is partially Peruvian. The food, which was all very good, was definitely a cultural mix. I had the chicken fried rice, which easily could have been Chinese. My spouse had the rotisserie chicken plate, which, while being very tastes, could have come from any part ofLatin America. This place is conveniently located... More

I'd never been to a restaurant offering Peruvian food, but this was a great first-taste experience. I had the paella, which was spicy and hot without being overwhelmingly fiery. The bottled beer from Peru provided a good match. The staff were welcoming and informative, creating a relaxed family feel in what is a busy restaurant.

For my wife and I, this was our first time trying Peruvian food. It was so flavorful. My wife had Lomo Saltado, tender marinated slices of sirloin in a spicy sauce with tomatoes, onions, garlic, french fries and rice. I had Tallarin Saltado de pollo, chicken, spaghetti, onions and garlic. Both dishes were redolent and richly spiced, but not hot... More

This place was such a gem! The food transported me back to Cuzco, it was absolutely phenomenal. I haven't had ceviche that good anywhere in Western/Central Mass. This place is worth a drive, even if you're not in the area. I'm so glad I found this place.

We came across the Alpamay Restaurant on our walk down Main street in Lee and gave it a try, having never tried Peruvian food before. The restaurant is clean and simple. Servers were friendly and efficient. None of the meals were familiar, so we tried the pollo Saltado and Pescado en salsa de Camarones. My husband really enjoyed the fish... More

I had lunch here and found it to be OK. Many interesting dishes. Fresh fish soup and chicken and rice was good. A friend had the calamari that was quite good. The service was friendly and efficient. I would go back and try again.
